RETAIL HORTICULTURIST

We have an opportunity in our visitor friendly nursery for a career focused retail horticulturist. You will join a team of retail sales professionals, other experienced horticulturists, garden designers & landscape builders. You will be an integral member of the sales team with responsibility for delivering exceptional customer service, best in industry product merchandising and execution of our order to delivery process. You will also be part of the plant health team and provide care for our wide stock of plants. Preferred Experience: 2 years.

EXPERIENCED BARISTA & CAFÉ SUPERVISOR

The Plant Collector's Café is a unique experience for our visitors to enjoy a meal amongst our collection of mature specimen plants & trees. We have an opportunity for an experienced Barista/Supervisor to join our Café team. You will join a wider team of retail sales professionals, experienced horticulturists, award winning garden designers & landscape builders. You will be an integral member of the Cafe team with responsibility for delivering exceptional customer service. Ideally, you will have speciality coffee experience, expertise on the operation and maintenance of a best in class coffee machine and grinder & knowledge of stock control. Previous experience in a supervisor position is preferred. Good communication & team building skills are necessary. Preferred experience: 1 year.

OUTLOOK GARDENS - CURRENT JOB VACANCIES

CREW LEAD - MAINTENANCE TEAM

Our founder Dermot Kerins grew up in a plant nursery in Kenmare on the South West coast of Ireland. He studied horticulture in the UK and Holland and in 2010 he founded Outlook Gardens, a garden design & landscaping company.

With 30 years experience in the horticulture, garden design and landscape fields, Dermot and his team have collaborated with renowned garden designers, architects, public institutions and private homeowners to build outstanding award-winning gardens throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe, including two medal winning gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show (Gold and Silver-Gilt).

His passion for his work is realised in the many gardens built throughout the world, and with his new endeavor - making The Plant Collector Nursery come to life.

GENERAL OPERATIVE - MAINTENANCE TEAM

The GO will be responsible for performing gardening & landscaping tasks as part of a maintenance team. They will report directly to the maintenance foreman on a daily basis with the detail of works completed. They will have day to day responsibility for the successful completion, to the required standard, of elements of the overall maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be competent performing various horticulture practices and the use of gardening and landscape tools. Full training will be provided. Preferred Experience: 1 year
