Acer palmatum is a bushy, deciduous, small tree with orange-yellow leaves, turning red in autumn and falling off in winter. Bare, Red stems remain on the tree over winter, providing excellent winter structure to the garden. Small, conspicuous flowers are followed by red fruits in spring and summer. Can grow to a max of 3-4 metres tall.

Plant in a semi-shaded area protected from the wind in acid or neutral soil.

Sold at a height of 100-125cm tall.
