Camellia japonica 'William Bartlett' - Japanese Camellia
Camellias are small to medium evergreen shrubs with showy, large flowers and lush, glossy foliage. The 'William Bartlett' variety produces abundant formal double flowers, which are a pale pink or white colour, splashed and streaked with darker pinks. The blooms appear from late winter to early spring.
Camellias grow well in mixed borders or pots so long as they are planted in ericaceous compost. Camellias are fully hardy and live well in partially shaded or light shade spots, however, they should be planted away from cold winds and early morning sun, or thawing after frosts may damage the buds and flowers may not open.
These camellias are sold in 10L pots and measure approx 50cm in height.
All our size descriptions are true to size, measurements are of plants excluding rootballs or pots.
